Maveny is a tool for screenwriters and filmmakers, where they can get feedback on their story ideas from their audience, other screenwriters, professional filmmakers, script coaches, and producers.

My task was to redesign the web application for the desktop and then make the adaptive version of the web application. And I start from discovery, at this stage, I was learning all about the product, the key features, and make some competitor analysis and user research.

They are unsure if their story really works. That it can really get an audience or sell to a producer/publisher. They can use Maveny in different stages: when thinking up a story idea (validation of idea), when rewriting (finding out which logline is better), or when pitching (finding the best pitch for the story). They want their story to be successful and they want objective feedback on it. They need to be confident about their story before spending a lot of time and effort on it.

I discussed every insight with the client to get a better understanding of the users and align my design decisions with the brand strategy and business needs. Also, I kept him updated through all design processes to avoid miscommunication.
